Robert Johns WASHINGTON -- Robert G. Johns, 45, of Washington died at 3:50 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 20, 1998, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.He was born Aug. 28, 1953, in Peoria to Talmage and Ruth Griffin Johns.Surviving are two daughters, Jennifer Johns and Jodi Johns, both of Washington; his mother of Washington; one brother, Jeffery of Washington; two sisters, Patricia Ziegele and Mrs. Al (Tammy) Chepan, both of Washington; and two nieces.His father and one brother preceded him in death.A member of United Auto Workers Local 974, he worked in Building DD at Caterpillar Inc. in Mossville for 27 years.He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Washington. He also was a member of Kennel Lake Sportsman's Club in Morton.Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at his church. The Rev. James Swaner will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Mason-White Funeral Home. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery.Memorials may be made to an education fund for his daughters, c/o CEFCU.
